A unique cave landscape

From the church in Castelrotto (1060 m) on the wide path, first marked 0/2 and later 0, which runs for a long time almost level through meadows, past the Ansitz Lafay and several other houses (including Lafogl and Schgagul) and finally through the forest, climbing gently, to St. Michael (1282 m; inn above the church); from Kastelruth approx. 1:30 hrs. Michael, then on the road or on a short path southwards and down to the stream. On the other side, follow trail no. 7 through a small valley up to trail no. 7 itself and follow this trail partly through fields, partly through woods on level ground or slightly downhill to the junction with trail no. 8. Now turn right (M 7/8) down to Tiosels (along the trail the beautiful Ladinserhof farm) and continue through the fields down to Castelrotto. From St. Michael approx. 1:30 hrs.
