From Casateia|Gasteig on the Panoramaweg Trail in the Jaufental Valley

From Casateia (970m), at the entrance to the Jaufental, follow the old Jaufentalweg trail no. 17B to the south along the sunny slope leading uphill, pass the Platzer Hof farm leading to the Gringgerhof farm (1,142m). From here take the ascending path to the right to the higher forest road. The Panoramaweg trail follows the forest road down into the valley. At the end of the forest road (1,275m), take trail no. 19 in the downstream direction leading to the fields in the valley, and from there follow the dirt road no. 18 further into the valley and up to Val di Mezzo (1,080m; refreshments served). The return route runs along the valley road to the junction of path no. 19 (panoramic image), which leads to the left and to the Panoramaweg. Follow this ascending trail back to Casateia.
