From Brixen to Neustift
From the Episcopal City to the Famous Augustinian Canons' Monastery
From the Adlerbrücke (eagle bridge) in Brixen (561 m), follow marker 16 next to the eastern riverside road along the Eisack river northwards to a road crossing in the area of buildings (not far from the Landwirt inn) and then through meadows and orchards on a level walk, whereby the wide footpath also accompanies the natural, wide bed of the Eisack river for a while. Finally, leaving the stream on a road to the first houses of Neustift (always marked 16) and crossing the Pustertal road to the monastery itself (595 m). From Brixen 1 hour - return: as outward route.
