Descend from the Fanes plateau to Pederù on the steep trail running parallel to the dirt road that you took when going up to Fanes. From Rifugio Pederù follow a gently descending trail through the Val di Marebbe that runs parallel to the road, until reaching San Vigilio.

This route is easier and preferred when the weather conditions are not good.
