Escursion to the mount Tschafon

Over the hotel there is starting the path n. 12A and 12 to the Tschamin Schwaige. Here you cross the bridge over the river and then take the path n. 4a passing behind hotels and houses along a asphalted street and then along a forest street, up to the Wuhnleger. Now the path continues to ascent to a cross. Here we recommend to take the path signed as “kommod” and not the steep road witch lead’s you to the Tschafon (1.733m). After a break you follow the signs indicating “Völsegg Spitze”, a peak which is located 100 height meters above the hut. On this lookout point you will have a wonderful panorama over the Valle Isarco, the Valle Adige, the Vinschgau valley, as well as into the surrounding mountain world dolomites. You can now decide to either return on the same way or make a round tour following the path n. 4a and 7 to “Schönblick” (translated beautiful view), then back to the hotel.
