The Ritorto area has one of the most amazing scenic view of the area; you can reach it easily through a suggestive 3 km-road from the Patascoss area (in about 45 minutes on foot).  In the Ritorto area, there are both the Malga Ritorto restaurant - for having snacks or a typical lunch and dinner (+ 39 366 2355479) - and the alpine hut /children farm"La Regina" with animals, and where you can buy typical products. Destination

Malga Ritorto

Turn-by-turn directions

Reach Patascoss area, a couple of kilometers north of Madonna di Campiglio, on foot or by car.

From the centre of Madonna di Campiglio go north, passing the Pradalago cableway towards the fork for Nambino-Patascoss-Ritorto. At the fork take the road on the left leading to the Piana di Nambino in less than one kilometer, and then to Patascoss. From Patascoss an easy and flat road leads to Malga Ritorto in about half an hour.

The route, surrounded by clearings and fir woods, is shaded and so is suitable also to be followed during hot and sunny days. Just in a very slight ascent, first paved and then dirt, is suitable for strollers too. Malga Ritorto is a natural balcony on the Brenta Dolomites, a unique and suggestive scenic view.

Children enjoy the many animals they can see all around, as horses, goats and cows and the opportunity to do a carriage ride.

Public transport

Check the summer transport timetables and rates or take the brochure in the tourist office in Pradalago street, 4.

By road

Reach the fork for Nambino-Patascoss-Ritorto areas, along the main road SS239, north of Madonna di Campiglio.

Park in Patascoss and from here follow the signs for Malga Ritorto.

For those coming from Pinzolo, after the tunnel exit in Madonna di Campiglio, take the first fork on the left.
For those coming from Campo Carlo Magno pass, instead, pass the departure of the Grostè cableway, and after about 1 km, take the first fork on the right.

Parking

Paid parking in Patascoss, starting point of the itinerary.
