Downy oak forest and orchid world near Gargazon

From the car park, follow the signs for the Sunnseitensteig trail, which is quite steep in places, up through the scrub forest. In summer it can get quite hot here. After several serpentines, you finally reach the edge of the forest and the junction with Mark. No. 4, which you follow downhill to the right. Partly on the access road to the Pfrontschen farm, you now head down through the scrub forest again. Past the waterfall of the Aschlbach stream, you descend to Gargazon and follow the „Panoramaweg“, Mark. Nr. 3, to the left until you finally reach the Raffeiner Orchid World. In addition to the already mentioned orchids with their abundance of flowers, you can also marvel at koi carp, turtles and mountain loris parrots. Food and drink are also well catered for. Return to the starting point by public bus from the bus stop three minutes' walk away.
