Past the Glittner Lakes.
The first stage of the Dolorama leads in a gentle yet steady climb over the extensive landscape of the Rodenecker and Lüsner Alm and gives the hiker an insight into South Tyrolean alpine farming in action, framed by the impressive panorama of the Pfunderer mountains in the north and the Dolomite peak of the Peitler Kofel constantly approaching above the Glittner Lakes in the east.

From the Zumis car park, follow trail no. 4 in a northerly direction to the first fork. Here continue to the right and past the Ronerhütte follow trail no. 2 in a southerly direction. Über trail no. 67 and past the Starkenfeldhütte you reach another road junction, At which you turn right and hike  over trail 66 to the Steiner Alm. Turn left and follow trail marker 2A and, after the Kreuzwiesenhütte, trail 12A. Continue right on trail 10 to Glittner See and  over the Anton Schwingshackl trail, then following trail no. 1, you will reach the Maurerberghütte after around 1:15 hours.
