Ein vielseitige Wanderung ausgehend von Dietenheim bei Bruneck. Eine ideale Halbtages-Wanderung mit wenig Höhenmetern für die ganze Familie.
Von Dietemheim beim Landesmuseum für Volkskunde ausgehend hinauf zum Sportplatz und an diesem vorbei - sich an der Weggabelung nach dem Sportplatz rechts halten - nun wird der Weg steiler - man gelangt auf die asphaltierte Zufahrtsstraße, diese überqueren und dem markierten Weg Nr. 4 durch den Wald hinauf zu den Rauthöfen folgen bis zum gut sichtbaren Wiesenkreuz, das in mitten der Felder steht. Beim Kreuz links vorbei und geradeaus weiter, vorbei am Berggasthof Amaten - nach dem landwirtschaftlichen Gebäude, das zum Berggasthof gehört, sich links halten und sogleich auf den Kehlburgweg weiter. Diesem Weg durch den Wald folgen bis zur Ruine Kehlburg. Von hier dem Forstweg folgend hinunter bis nach Aufhofen, beim dortigen Brunnen dem Gehsteig (links abzweigen) bis nach Dietenheim zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
