From Dorf Tirol along the Herrschaftsweg to Vellau and via the Felsenweg to Hochmuth.

Starting from the centre of Dorf Tirol, take trail 23B to Farmer Kreuz. From there, continue on the Herrschaftsweg to Oberötzbauer, where you turn right and walk on trail 26 to Pirbamegg and then follow trail marker 25 to Vellau. Continue on trail 22 in a northerly direction until you reach a crossroads; turn right here and continue on the Vellauer Felsenweg trail to Hochmuth. Follow trail no. 22 from there across meadows and through the forest path in the direction of Mutkopf until you reach the Mutkopf inn.
