Through the almost untouched Ampeza Valley this circular hike leads along the Sassolungo and up to the famous Comici Hut. The hut, named after the South Tyrolean mountaineer Emilio Comici, is located at 2154 m and attracts hikers and mountaineers with its blue shutters from afar. The steep climb to the hut is rewarded not only by the magnificent view from the top, but also by the first-class refreshments.

The hike starts in Selva. From there, a trail runs parallel across the road to the hamlet of la Selva. We walk along the Selva road until we reach the signpost Comicihütte. Here we walk through a wide meadow hollow (Saslong) and then follow the path with marker no. 23. Following the marker, hikers soon reach the bank of the Ampezanbach stream, where we take the rather steep path no. 528 to the Plan Sosaslonch trail junction.
.From here, continue in a south-easterly direction to the Comicihütte (on trail nos. 526 and 528). After a rest at the Comicihütte, we recommend returning via a goods path to Plan de Gralba and continuing to Selva (trail no. 21).
