Set off on foot from Longiaru with a steep climb to the flanks of Monte Putia, which stands out above the others in Val Badia .As you head towards Rifugio Genova, tucked beneath Passo Poma, cross wide prairies with exceptional views of the peaks of Puez-Odle National Park and the Fanes massif.
Descend back to La Valle-Wengen through the Seres Valley, where you’ll see a succession of ancient watermills. If you wish, it is possible to shorten the trail by around 3km by taking an alternative route. Take the direct bus back to La Valle.
