Experience trail on the Mareiter Sonnenhang. Views sweep over the Ridnaun valley, the Sterzing valley basin and the Dolomite peaks of the Telfer Weißen in the background.

From the church in Mareit (1039 m) over the bridge of the valley stream to the other side, here, following the mark 18, on the wide path through the meadow slopes past several farms up to the crossing Höfestraße and to the right, past the Blösnerhof, which we recognise by its chapel, briefly over to Untertelfs (1234 m, inn), from Mareit just under 1:00 hour. From the village, return to the Blösnerhof farm and to the fork in the road, stay to the right here and follow the 18/B markings on the narrow, hardly used farm road on a mostly level hike westwards from farm to farm (Frei, Kaltenbrunn, then a little higher the Kochbichler with refreshments, then Schölzhorn, Stransler, Oasler), crossing the Rungger Graben in the middle section. After about 1:30 h from Telfes, turn left at the fork in the road (signposts, approx. 1225 m) and continue along the narrow road and past a refreshment stop down to Mareit.
