Circular hike on the Karneider Berg

From Kardaun in the lower Eisacktal valley (281 m), it is best to drive up to the village of Karneid and then to the Karneider Berghütte mountains until you reach a road fork with signposts (approx. 900 m; some parking space). From there, follow signpost 1 on a barely passable asphalt road on a level hike eastwards to the Wiedentalhof farm, now on the old cart track through the forest, slightly ascending to the Alberer Hof farm and to the Unter-Kaser farm; soon after, on the road to the left up to the little church “Kaserer Bild” (1278 m; from the starting point 1:30 hrs.) and from there follow the signs “Lärchhof” and marker 1A (initially a road, then a forest path branching off to the right) on a more or less level hike to the edge of the Streitmoshof meadow and to the Aichner stable and further through the woods to the Lärchhof farm (1290 m, Buschenschank, from Kaserer Bild just under 1:00 hrs).
