Castelbello-Castello Hiking Trilogy

On our tour we repeatedly come across iron signs with the inscription „Sunnenweg - Kastelbell-Tscharser Wandertrilogie". The sun (called Sunne in South Tyrolean dialect) determines the climate and landscape on the Vinschger Sonnenberg and is the source of the name. The trilogy refers to three hiking routes that can be followed as a whole or individually. We decide on the Nature Myth Trail. The name "Mythenweg" is probably due to the fact that we walk past the mysterious shell stones (sign Archaeological Hiking Trail on the ascent and Klumperplatte on the descent) and the so-called Klumperplatte. The significance of both finds has not yet been fully explained. The clumper plate was even brought back into the right perpendicularity by an intervention and produces the signal-giving sound again by the correct movement.
