From Mittertal/Val di mezzo in Jaufental/Val Giovo walk on the Waldeben-sledge run-path towards Seiterberg, left towards Wiesl to Gospeneid/Caspineto. There firstly over a footpath, then along a narrow-asphalted street past an old farmyard to Rust. Down the road, past the crossing and then on a narrow street upwards to Sterzing/Vipiteno. At the next crossing fork left – and then after the bridge go left along a gravel path. Over this path you reach Gasteig/Casateia – near the bar “Platzl”.  Continue along the main street for a few 100 meters to the Hotel A.nett. Opposite the hotel at the left side of the street starts the “Panoramaweg” into the Jaufental. Hike along this path back to the starting point.
