Das kleine Massiv.
Prachtberg zwischen Sarntal und Wipptal. Die Tatschspitze gehört zu den besonders ausgeprägten und unverwechselbaren Gipfeln der Sarntaler Alpen.

Von Asten (1512 m) stets der Beschilderung »Tatschspitze« und anfangs der Markierung 13 folgend auf dem brei­ ten Fahrweg talein zu Wegteilung, auf dem breiten Weg links bleibend (nun Mark. 10) in Kehren durch Wald hinauf zur Seebergalm (1917 m, sie war letzthin nicht mehr bewirtschaftet), auf Steig 10 über einen steilen Rücken weiter empor zum querenden Steig 13A (ca. 2120 m), auf diesem links zu nächster Wegteilung, rechts auf dem Steig 10 zur Gipfelflanke und über sie im Zickzack hinauf zum Hauptgipfel mit dem Kreuz (2526 m); ab Asten gut 3 Std., ab Seebergalm 2 Std.). – Der Abstieg erfolgt über die beschriebene Aufstiegsroute.
