Around the Dolomite's most spectacular and well-known triad of peaks
This almost ten-kilometre trail encircles the legendary Tre Cime (Drei Zinnen ) Peaks, located in the Dolomiti di Sesto Mountains.

Ascent: From Fischleinboden in the Sesto (Sextner) side valley of the same name (1,454 m, road here from Moso (Moos); parking area; Dolomitenhof Hotel), walk for about a half hour until you reach the Talschlusshütte mountain hut (1,540 m; restaurant). From there, continue on Trail No. 102 through the wild and beautiful Altensteintal Valley at the foot of the north face of Cima Una (Einserkofel) Peak, continue southwest up to the two upper Laghi di Piani (Bödensee) Lakes and just after that, to the large Locatelli alle Tre Cime (Dreizinnenhütte) mountain hut at Toblinger Riedel Pass (2,405 m; mountain hut open in summer); 3 hours from Fischleinboden. High Trail: From the hut, it’s a good trail heading briefly down and then on Trail No. 101, in a mostly flat crossing of scree at the foot of the west face of Monte Paterno (Paternkofel) Mountain heading south to Forcella Lavaredo (Paternsattel) Saddle at 2,457 m; first briefly downhill towards the Lavaredohütte mountain hut (2,390 m;
