From St. Valentin auf der Haide (1470 m) always southwards on the wide hiking trail (marked 1), which runs for the most part far away from the road, is well signposted and thus cannot be missed and is equipped with benches, directly on the eastern shore of the lake, on a long footbridge through the reed area in the outflow area of the lake over to the west side and first on the tarred road, later on a footpath branching off from it (always marking 1) on the west shore of the lake through woods and meadows northwards back to St. Valentin.
