In the footsteps of Empress Sissi
On the Elisabeth Promenade, past remote mountain farms

At the parking lot on the eastern end of Nova Levante (Welchnofen), located near the bridge, follow Trail No. 2 along the creek. At the  sign  for Elisabethdenkmal, follow the narrow footpath, No. 3, up through the forest to a clearing with a statue of Empress Sissi and the ruins of Zenai Farm (1,560 m). Walking time from Nova Levante is approximately 1 hour. Keep following Trail No. 3, which runs flat through the woods, to Solerhof Farm (1,556 m) and on to Ladritscher Tavern (1,523 m). Here, the trail becomes wider, continuing to Pischoelerhof (1,530 m) and eventually to Meierei Tavern. Walking time from Zenai to here is roughly another hour. Take Trail No. 7 to the right, descending via woods and single farms. After a longer section in the woods, the path merges with Trail No. 6, which leads back to the starting point. (1 ½ h from Meierei Tavern).
