The starting point of the stage no. 100 of the Via Transalpina is Sistiana, in the municipality of Duino. Follow the SS 14, then trail 1, until you reach the Vedetta Tiziana Weiss. Walking towards south-east you will walk below the village of Aurisina (144 m) until you reach the Vedetta Liburnia. Crossing the Bosco Babiza follow trail 1 to the village of Santa Croce (207 m). From here you have a wonderful view over the coast and the castle of Miramare, whose pale marble contrasts with the blue sea. Finally follow path 1 and walk near the Vedetta Slataper to Prosecco (249 m).
