From Fontanazzo in Val di Fassa initially follow the paved road to the east, then cross the Avisio and walk on trail 645 and along the Rio de Grepa into the valley. On the way you will walk near some huts. Through some curves you reach Pian de Siele and then walk along a steep grassy slope down towards the Ciampac valley, where at 2,170 m lies Tobia of Giagher hut.
