From the Alpe di Tires hut (2,440 m) follow a partly equipped trail to the south. Then follow trail no. 3A to Molignon pass. After crossing the pass, follow the narrow and steep path leading in serpentines to a valley between the Valbona, Croda of Cirmei and Grasleitenspitzen peaks. From here continue on trail 11A and after 3 hours of walking on the border between the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, at 2,600 meters, you will reach the Passo Principe hut.
