3. on the Zerminiger, 3109 m
The highest peak on the Sonnenberg, a veritable three-thousand-metre peak, is relatively easy to climb and rewards the (not very high) altitude with a fantastic panoramic view. From the Alm, follow the Mark. 20B, also Archäological hiking trail A5, to the southwest. The signs to the Zerminiger cannot be missed. Shortly below the Niederjöchl you meet the Mark. 6, which leads up from St. Martin im Kofel. Follow the markings to the right, at first fairly flat, then somewhat steeper, the route is easy along the ridge to the Roßkopf and on to the fairly flat pre-peak with the large summit cross. In about 20 minutes, you can ascend to the main summit with the small wooden cross via the easy ridge. Descent as ascent.
