The itinerary is an excellent opportunity to take part in a path full of emotions and above all of breathtaking views. Starting from the provincial road 422 of Cansiglio, the route will first take you to the Nino Lot bivouac at an altitude of 1010m, built in 1995-96 by a group of hikers from the surrounding areas who decided to name it after Giacomo Lot, known as "Nino", their friend who passed away  in the same period.

Having visited this beautiful bivouac resume the climb towards Cadolten reaching the malghe and the church of San Floriano, from where the descent path will then begin to the little church of Sant'Antonio: perfect point to enjoy a more unique than rare panorama, which ranges from Visentin to the Adriatic coast, passing through the famous Euganean Hills and the Treviso plain. After the contemplation of this landscape, you can return to the path thus reaching the starting point.

Provincial road of Cansiglio

Turn-by-turn directions

The path marked with trail marker 1036A (not to be confused with the small paved road on the left), immediately climbing into the woods, reaches the bivouac at an altitude of 1,050 meters in just over an hour  and then join a forest track, near the chapel of Sant’Antonio, which must be covered uphill for about 500 meters. Before the next hairpin bend to the right, trail sign 1036A leaves the road and turns left going up again into the woods to then enter a dirt track heading north-west and continue to the church of San Floriano in the locality of Cadolten. Leaving the Chapel on the right, take the "Del Santo" road on the left - the forest track already crossed previously - which, in a steep descent, leads back to the chapel of Sant’Antonio. From here, after having admired the view that, on clear days, stretches to the sea, take the 1036A trail marker in the woods (entrance just before the chapel), and following the same trail downhill, you return to the starting point
