Via the Passo Ballino.
The ascent of 10 km to the Passo San Giovanni has become a classic for bikers. The variant of this itinerary reaches the land behind the Lake Garda. The fantastically signed tour is long and difficult and lacks any technical difficulties. Along the route you can find numerous restaurants and charging stations for your e-bikes in Ballino.

At the fountain (near the church) of the Piazza San Michele in (1) Varignano/Arco (103 m) you follow the signs for “Anello Garda-Sarca” over the steep road uphill. Passing the village of (2) Padaro (352 m) you also pass the village (3) Mandrea after approx. 3 km, always uphill until you reach (4) San Giovanni al Monte (1050 m). Approx. 900 m further you will reach (5) Marcarie (1104 m). At the junction you continue straigt (direction Vigo-Lundo, n. 452) and on the forest road you descend to the alp (6) Malga di Vigo (1087 m). Having almost reached the valley you keep left in the direction of Val Lomasone. Near the church (7) San Silvestro (599 m) you turn left and drive along the province’s road until you reach the village (8) Vigo Lomaso. Through the village you drive in the direction of Riva del Garda. At the junction at the (9) stone shaft before Dasindo (512 m) you turn left and continue near the church until you reach the next junction. You turn right (MTB-tour) and continue upill
