The emotion of cycling along the route of the former railway that connected the Ora to Predazzo. It was built for war purposes during the First World War, and maintained until 1963, also bringing the first tourists to the valley.

Vecchia Stazione, the starting point of the route is so called because it was one of the train stations. Take the new paved cycle path that goes straight to Aguai and then climbs to Passo San Lugano, the pass that connects Val di Fiemme with Valle dell'Adige. From here, continue downhill along the wide dirt road, former place of the tracks of the Fiemme Railway, which slopes down to Ora. You pass through the woods, to the cultivation of apples and vines, you pass through fascinating tunnels and high viaducts. Once in Ora we recommend a stop at the Bicigrill, where you can eat, drink and charge the batteries of your bicycle. The tour can be extended to Lake Caldaro along the Wine Route.

Destination

Ora

Turn-by-turn directions

Take the new paved cycle path which, crossing Aguai hamlet, leads uphill to San Lugano Pass. From here begins the comfortable dirt road that constantly descending leads to Ora. The route is very intuitive and is signposted by wooden tables. You pass through the woods, to the cultivation of apples and vines, you pass through fascinating tunnels and high viaducts. The beauty of the landscape can be appreciated more uphill when the speed is low and you have more time to look around and discover for example, on the left, the majestic Castle of Enna, still inhabited.

Return on the same way.
