This varied cross-country ski trail begins in Langtaufers/Melag at 1,912 m above sea level. The trail leads along the northern side of the valley to the Melager Alm (snack station). The trail loops back along the southern side of the valley: The small circuit leads along the influence of the Melager Bach stream into the Karlinbach stream via a path back to Melag, while the large circuit continues out of the valley through the forest to Grub, where it changes sides of the valley and leads back to Melag via the sunny meadows.
