Bruneck City Tour I
A wonderful city tour - churches, picturesque alleys and Bruneck Castle included.
This city tour starts at the former Powder Tower in front of the Raiffeisenkasse in Bruneck. In the Powder Tower, Pustertal mountain personalities are presented - hard bones and their life stories. From here, pass the Hotel Post and cross the road. You are now at the "Graben" and go left up to the Florianitor, where there is a painting by the artist Rudolf Stolz. Go through the gate and continue straight on into Stadtgasse - turn left there. Colourful facades of the medieval houses accompany the tour. Finally, you reach the Oberragener (Unterrainer) Gate with its beautiful exterior fresco. Through this gate you reach the Oberragen. Here, too, you can see old rows of houses, a Virgin Mary column from 1716, the Palais Sternbach manor house and the Parish Church of Bruneck. .
