Überetscher Round

The start of the cycle tour to the Überetscher Runde is at the railway station in Leifers. First take the station road into the town and down the Marconi road towards Pfatten to the large bridge. Join the cycle path and continue to Auer. Leave the cycle path there and follow the main road for a short while. Take the underpass of the motorway and then immediately turn right towards Gmund and along the eastern shore of Lake Kaltern to Klughammer. Continue on the main road for a while, then turn right onto trail 20 B and follow it through vineyards. Continue to Feld/Altenloch and up to Kaltern. Enter the cycle path Eppan-Kaltern and continue to Eppan. Follow the cycle path until the crossroads to Montiggl. This is where the cycle path to Bolzano begins, on which you cycle as far as Sigmundskron. At the bridge over the Etsch river keep to the right and pass Sigmundskron Castle. At the end of the road, turn left to the water point on the Bolzano-Unterland cycle path. Turn right here and
