The starting point of the last stage of the South Tyrolan Cycling Track is the city center of Brunico/Bruneck. On the track, which follows the river Rienza/Rienz, you arrive at the town San Lorenzo/St. Lorenzen. At the gates of Val Gardena/Grödnertal you turn left and cycle along the Rienza/Rienz admiring the breathtaking cultural landscape. Passing the locality Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach you leave the Val Pusteria/Pustertal and continue in northern direction towards the Wipptal. From here the track leads through the fortress of Fortezza/Franzensfeste and its town and further, after a narrowing of the track at Mules/Mauls, you reach the “Sterzinger Moos” and Vipiteno/Sterzing, where the track, after passing the lovely town, ends.
