From west to north
On the cycling track through the region from Glorenza/Glurns to the main city Bolzano/Bozen and continuing to Vipiteno/Sterzing.

The 1st stage of the South Tyrolean Cycling Track starts from the city of Glorenza/Glurns. Passing the locality Prato allo Stelvio/Prad am Stilfserjoch, the Ontaneto di Cengles/Tschenglser Au and Ontaneto di Oris/Eyrser Au you reach Lasa/Laas, famous for its white marble, Laces/Latsch and Castelbello/Kastelbell and its castle. Cycling along the river Adige/Etsch you reach Naturno/Naturns, at which point you have left the Val Venosta/Vinschgau and descending to Tel and Lagundo/Lagund you finally reach the city of Merano/Meran and its majestic Kurhaus. The starting point of the 2nd stage of the South Tyrolean Cycling Track is the spa town of Merano/Meran. The track leads in southern direction passing Lana and Sinigo/Sinich. After cycling through apple trees you follow the track along the river Adige/Etsch towards Vilpian and castle Firmiano/Firmian.
