Cycle tour into the Adige Valley to Lana

The bike tour starts from the sandy area in Merano via the Postbrücke and summer promenade up to Obermais. On the main road from Schenna, past Trauttmansdorff Castle, the route descends to the cycle path along the Naifbach stream. Along the stream the path leads to Sinich and then on to Burgstall. Turn right here and follow the road over the Etsch river and motorway to Lana. Through the village centre with all kinds of places to stop for refreshments, the route heads north along the main road past Tscherms to Marling. Along the racecourse the tour leads along Tennisstrasse and later Leopardistrasse into the centre of Merano. Finally, you return to the starting point along the Freiheitsstrasse.
