Cycle path in the Upper Val di Non
Coming from the south, this cycle route begins in the inhabited centre of Malgolo (fraction of Romeno), where you can leave your car in a car park. Continue along the provincial road and you will reach the first section of the cycle path, which runs along the SS43. The route follows the old path of the Trento-Malè cable car. With a gentle but constant climb, you reach the wide meadows of Romeno and the wooden bridge that crosses the state road and serves as a connection with the cycle path. Continue to the right and cross a wooded area until you reach the small hamlet of Salter. The cycle path goes through the inhabited centre and along the town streets you reach the neighbouring village of Romeno. Here the path continues to the church of San Antonio (with a cycle of frescoes dedicated to the legend of the Saviour) and then, among apple orchards, to the entrance of Cavareno.
