Turn-by-turn directions

From the Marling/Marlengo church square (altitude 363 m) follow the Nörderstr./Via Tramontana street towards Algund/Lagundo as far as the Forst Brewery. Cross the main road and turn left onto the Forststr./Via Birreria street before taking a right turn onto the wooden bridge crossing the Etsch/Adige river. Turn left and follow the road up towards the valley Vinschgau/Val Venosta.

The approximately 60 km tarred road follows the Etsch/Adige, past fruit orchards against a picturesque setting of snow-capped peaks, fields and forests, villages and vineyards. The route ascends to Mals/Malles (at 1,099 m altitude) in the upper Vinschgautal/Venosta Valley.

The entire route, which can also be followed on the way down, has an altitude variance of about 700 m.
