An easy bike ride through the apple tree groves of the Adige Valley

This bike ride starts from the Lido di Bolzano. Take the cycling path on the right side of the Isarco River (according to the river’s current) and cycle to the purification plant of Bolzano. Just as you leave behind the purification plant, turn right at the fountain and cycle past Castel Firmiano. Cycle past the iron bridge and go straight on crossing the railway tracks until you reach the main road. Turn left at the Mendelhof inn and cross the railway tracks. Turn immediately right onto the cycling path for Merano and continue through Settequercie, Terlano, Vilpiano, Gargazzone until you reach Postal. Once you reach the railway station in Burgstall-Postal, cycle up a small ramp, cross the tracks and take the main road towards Lana. In Lana, follow the directions for Via Boznerstraße until you reach Tribusplatz square, then, cross via Andreas-Hoferstraße until you reach the crossroads with via Kapuzinerstraße and turn onto this road until you reach Kirchweg lane and then continue
