Anspruchsvolle Skitour vom Rosskopf über die Vallmingalm auf die Telfer Weißen im Wipptal

Man folgt der Piste bis zum Sterzinger Haus (1930 m). Dort flach nach rechts zur kleinen Kastelllacke (1930 m). Von dort (Wegweiser), am Anfang steil (eventuell die Skier tragen) links über den Wanderweg ins Vallmingtal hinunter und weiter zur Vallmingalm (1814 m). Vor der Alm links vom Bach taleinwärts. Über einen Hang zu einem Wetterkreuz (2020 m) hinauf. In mäßiger Steigung in der gleichen Richtung weiter bis zu einer kleinen Hütte (2180 m). Jetzt weiter Richtung Kamm, den man bei 2330 m erreicht. Über diesen (oft schneefrei) sehr steil hinauf und weiter oben rechts ausholend in flacheres Gelände. Sich schräg links haltend erreicht man den Vorgipfel (2565 m, Skidepot). Übergang zum Hauptgipfel: Man steigt links über einen kurzen Schneegrat zum Beginn einer kurzen, steilen Rinne ab. Durch diese hinunter in eine Scharte und dann über einen steilen Hang zum Gipfel mit Kreuz. Abfahrt wie Aufstieg (mit Gegenanstieg von ca. ½ Std. zum Skigebiet Rosskopf).
