The ski tour to Langgrubjoch is still relatively popular. It is relatively easy and not as challenging as the tours on the high neighbouring peaks. However, it does rise to over 3,000 m and offers a good insight into the mountain world of Schnalstal Valley.

Turn-by-turn directions
Walk along the Lazaun slopes to the outer right-hand loop of the toboggan run. Attention! The slopes will be blocked off once they open for skiing! Alternative: Use the summer trail as far as the bridge. From there, go into the Valle di Fossalunga/Langgrubental Valley. We take a short steep climb to the upper valley basin at 2,350 m a.s.l and follow it straight ahead until we are beneath the passo di Fossalunga/Langgrubenjoch. A short steep slope leads directly up to the pass. You may have to remove your skies for the uppermost section due to a lack of snow. Descent as with ascent.
