Ascent: Follow the forest road for 2.9 km to the Daimerhütte (1872 m). At first steep and straight up the large slope to 2250m. Then less steep and straight on to the end of the slope at 2550m. Now follow the valley straight up to below the steep slope (2760 m). Now diagonally right steeply up to the clearly visible old Schwarzenstein hut (2922 m). From the hut continue left; first ach and then left of a round knoll (location of the new hut) to below the „Felsköp “. Up the right side and behind the Köp onto the Schwarzensteinkees (3200 m). Now left in a southerly direction to the left saddle (3300 m). Then with or without skis over the ridge to the summit with cross. Descent as ascent.
