From the forest into the hollow, over the saddle to the summit of the Rotlahner.

Starting point is the car park at the beginning of the toboggan run from the Stumpfalm (1500 m); accessible via the bridge to the right of the Talschlusshütte, approx. 1 km. Follow the forest road (toboggan run) into the valley until it turns left. Continue straight on, over the stream and through a ravine steeply up to the Kasermähdalm (2,048). Keep slightly to the right over moderately steep slopes into the large hollow below the rocky ridge that descends from the Rotlahner on the right. Go up through this hollow and left into the saddle. Over a ridge to the right to the summit. Descent as ascent.
