In the Valdurna
Ski Touring in the Alta Valdurna, a classic ski tour in winter.

Ascent: we go up the road to the lake. Keeping to the left-hand side, we head for the Val di Sebia (Seebachtal) as far as the mountain farms on the right (you can also drive up to this point; look out for the no-through sign before the lake). We continue ahead on the right-hand side of the stream as far as an alpine hut. Along a meadow and then, again on the right side of the stream, we enter the valley. We come across beautiful hollows (high risk of avalanches on the steep slopes on the right!) and enter a wide plateau; we turn right into a short canyon through the rocky boulder. After going through this canyon – very steep in one section – we go up until the terrain becomes less steep. We travel straight ahead, then left up some rocks and finally diagonally right to reach a shoulder. From here we go right until we reach the summit. Descent: via the same route.
