Gran Mesule (Großer Möseler)

Ascent: from the car park continue along the road and the Neves alpine hut (Nevesalm) to reach the bridge. We go over the bridge and up the valley, keeping to the left of the stream, until we reach the foot of the Penna Sud del Mesule (Südl. Möselenock). We go up right over a series of hollows leading to the Neves Orientale glacier. We continue right on a moderately steep slope towards a basin below the peak leading to the shoulder between the Mesule Piccolo and the Mesule Grande. We go up this steep slope until we reach the foot of the eastern crest of the summit (3,440 m, we leave our skis here). We go left up along the steep crest until we reach the summit cross. Descent: via the same route.
