Hochwintertour
The Glockhauser lies on the sunny side of the Langtauferer valley.

The starting point is the Melag car park (1950 m). Walk all the way up the meadow to the end of a ski lift. Go up diagonally right under an avalanche barrier, past a wayside cross and flat left into the valley until it forks. (Attention: steep slopes on the left, possibly avalanche danger! Possibly go to the right of the stream). Go up between boulders through a steep hollow and then diagonally left over a ridge into another hollow. Below the Westlichen Hennesiglkopf (3013 m) in a moderate slope far to the left to the south ridge of the Glockhauser. Far left outside steeply up and over the southwest side to the summit. - Descent as ascent or - if snow conditions are safe - from the summit slope straight down into Schönkar and, keeping to the left, into the valley head to the ascent track. To the eastern Hennesiglkopf (3013 m) and to the Hennesiglspitze (3131 m) follow the main valley (both steep tours).
