Great views over the Sesto Dolomites
Long ski touring hike in the Val Campo di Dentro in the Sesto Dolimites, ideal in winter and spring.

Ascent: on the track (sledge run) to the Rifugio Tre Scarperi, 1,626 m (Dreischusterhütte) in approx. 1.5 hours. We continue straight ahead along the flat valley (cross-country skiing run) all the way to the end. From here we go right up into the woods briefly, and then along the valley as far as a flat basin. We go along the Hangenalp Valley (Hangenalpltal) along gentle slopes on the right-hand side of the stream, below the Crode di Cima Piatta Bassa (Unterebenkofel). Here the valley narrows. We continue ahead up a steep slope to the end of the valley where some rocks rise. We go up to the plateau on the easiest path (there is often not much snow but look out for icy slabs!). Now we head north along the summit plateau towards the summit, which rises a little further behind a large metal structure. The views over the Val Fiscalina are extraordinary and stretch as far as the Villabassa. Descent: via the same route
