Between white mountainsides Ski touring between the Val Passiria and the Val Sarentino, ideal in winter.
Ascent: in the Val di Vannes (Wannser Tal) we take the country road as far as the Wannser Alm (1,641 m). Here we go deep into the valley which widens and becomes steeper. We go past the basin-shaped valley top, then left up a steep slope. We turn right onto a small plateau.
Now, again on steeper slopes we head right to the Vannes Pass (Wannser Joch, 2,247 m). Having reached the eastern side, we cross a gentle slope diagonally to a hollow, then up to the top in the same direction. With a slight turn to the left we reach the summit cross.
Descent: via the same route.
