Hike between the Valle del Vento and the Umbaltal valley (Austria), ideal in spring.

Ascent: We follow the route with the no-through-road sign for about 1 km as far as the Prato Magno/Santo Spirito (Prastmann/Heilig Geist). After going past the bridge on the right-hand side, we enter the valley and go as far as the Labesau-Labesaualm. We go up to the first plateau along a small valley on the right, and after going past a small mound we reach the second plateau. We continue on the right-hand side as far as two rock formations above the gorge. We go below these rocks up a steep slope above the gorge to reach another plateau. This part can be tricky if the snow is hard and if there’s a risk of avalanches. We continue straight ahead and after a series of ups and downs and terraced terrain, we reach a plateau from where a narrow steep valley begins. We come up all the way and out onto a ridge on the left-hand side (altitude: 2,691 on the map). We continue along this ridge, then slide left until we reach the slope which will lead to the right shoulder of the summit, at 2,
