Altplittschneid in the Martell Valley - challenging ski tour to the unknown 3000m peak.
Ascent: Over the dam wall and along the path along the bank for a while until it goes slightly downhill. Shortly after a ditch, turn left steeply up the forest to a meadow. Now follow the summer path (marked) sloping right through sparse forest to the beginning of the Zufritttal valley, approx. 2250 m. Walk shallowly into the valley to the right of the stream until you are below the steep slope. On the left side over a ridge, then left into a hollow; at 2630 m right over a ridge into flatter terrain and straight into the large plain, 2700 m. Before the Gelbsee, turn left onto a lower slope, 2753m. On the back of the moraine slightly downhill to Grünsee and left of this flat into the valley. Through a narrow hollow straight up to the next level, 2850m. Turn right, behind the Rossberg, onto a ridge, 2920m. Through wide terrain up a moderate incline to the left to a saddle, 3124 m.
