A very beautiful panoramic route, somewhat disturbed by the long forest trails. The ascent is safe up to an altitude of 2360 m, while the downhill option requires stabilised snow.

Ascent: along the wood, turn left at the junction at Fernon (1650 m a.s.l. ): continue to about 1775 m, where you cross summer path no. 462, which goes up the valley of Sigismondi. From Passo Polpen (altitude 1938 m) reassemble the wide ridge to the east and reach the slender summit ridge; after crossing the altitude of the Old Man, go to the summit of Rujoch, being careful of some more exposed sections. Descent: go down the ridge to the point where the wide north-west shoulder (2360 m) is grafted on, then descend. When you reach the bottom of Monte Stramaiolo, cross high paths towards the Malga Stramaiolo Alta pastures and then descend onto the forest road (1670 m altitude). Follow it to the Impluvio of the Val dell'Inferno and take the fork to the left to Malga Pontara (a short stretch slightly uphill), from here continue south-west along summer trail 443/B back to the Redebus Pass.
