Ascent: From the main road, take a forest road that, initially passing some converted cottages, leads towards the village of Milegna; before reaching it, turn right (north-east) and, following easy paths, reach the alpine hut of Ritòrt 1746 (1h). You can also reach the place by a flat road from the village of Patascograve. Turn right towards the north-west. The plain here is covered with large mountain pines (Pian dei Mughi). Keep left and the road will take you to the end of the plain. Here, at the bottom of the Val Canton valley, the outlet of Lake Ritograve descends, the outlet that will serve as a reference point for the ascent of the steep, initially dense then sparse wooded promontory; this is how you reach Lake Ritograve 2055 m (1-2h).
