Around Pils
From Weissbrunn Alm in the remotest part of Ulten valley around Pils mountain up to Zufrittspitz with its spectacular views.

The walk starts from the Weissbrunn reservoir (1880 m) in the remotest part of Ulten valley. Follow Route 140 along Grünsee brook into the valley then a steep climb to Höchster Hütte (2561 m). The path remains flat alongside Grünsee until you reach a fork. Turn right and continue following Route 140. This leads through some rubble then steeply up to the Zufrittferner pass. Turn right towards the summit slope via a snowy field. After a (careful) scramble through a chimney you reach the top of Zufrittspitz (3439 m). For the descent, follow the same route.
